Today I want to talk about Kpop Make up. Kpop (Korean Pop) or Kpop Idol is such a booming right now, not just in South Korea, but also worldwide generally. Because of that, all the things that kpop idol wears, in their music video, in performances, or even in their life, often become such a trend lately. The most interesting (at least for me, ehe) is their make up. For their music comeback stage or in MV, the make up sometimes is so amazing and beautifully created by professional. Usually they have an idea or make up point for each song or comeback songs. These are my most 5 favorite of girl group make up - the impressive one - until now!
5. EXID Hani : Up and Down
Make up point: Orange!
This group is a real hot trend right now in 2015. After the fan cam of one their member, Hani, goes viral, their popularity reaches its peak. In Korea, they often called "counter attack group" because after 3 years debut as idol, they were unknown idol and suddenly when video cam of Hani goes viral, they back to Music Performances and got 1st rank in there (which is never happen in Kpop idol world).
EXID's Hani make up point is orange, which is on their under eye and lipstick. Orange color makes typical skin, like Asian's skin, become more bright and glowing. I heard this color become such a hit in Korea's make up section after Hani wear it in music video. Orange make the whole face more fresh and wake up. I personally wear this type of make up lately.

4. Girls' Generation Jessica : I Got A Boy
Make up point: Under Eye Jewel!
Instead the bad news about Jessica leaving the goddess group - Girl's Generation , Jessica had been so popular through her make up in " I Got a Boy" song. The point is actually the jewel, like a diamond or Swarovski, that put under eye or in korean term aegyosal. Aegyogsal is fat under your eye (usually mistaken as eye bags, but they are not eye bags!) which is sign of youth because a lot of baby and teenager have a big aegyosal.
The jewel that put under make the appearance of eyes more pop out. Touch of sparkle of jewel makes perfect because it catching light and makes your eyes appear more bright, big, and beautiful.

3. 2NE1 Dara: Falling in Love
Make up point: Minimalist Goddes!
Dara absolutely gorgeous in this video. Overall her make up was so minimalist, but yes with adding some jewel upper her eyebrow and some jewel in forehead make her a complete beautiful goddess. The point to be goddess like Dara, you don't need to put a lot of make up, just do your foundation, eyebrow, lipstick, and pop out some fake lashes. The hard part is placing the jewel through upper eyebrow. It must be appear natural and beautiful.

2. f(x) Krystal : Red Light
Make up point: One Sided Eyeshadow!
The concept of this make up is so different. While many kpop try to look younger and minimalist make up, f(x) wear smoky make up (first shock) and in just one eye (double shock)! Yes I know we can't wear it in our daily basis, but it is so charming and bold in music video, that I can't stand to not put it in this review! I love too how Krystal put some red vampy lipstick too complete the look. Korean idol rarely put a bold statement red lipstick like this, so this become a wow factor beside the one sided eyeshadow.

1. KARA Goo Hara: Damaged Lady
Make Up Point: Extreme Gradation Lips!
I think it is my most favorite kpop make up ever. I remembered when I first saw this in their MV, it was a jaw dropping moment. I just love a perfection of this make up. It is simple make up and you can wear this type of make up in your daily basis. Just do your simple eye brow and eyeliner, then take your baby pink lipstick and glossy type lip glossy in fuchsia color or deep pink color. Wear it as gradation lips with the help of lip brush.
As you can see in the picture, the gradation lips become so vibrant and makes your face appear brighter. The key point is you have too use glossy product. If you don't have a liquid lipstick, it's okay to replace it with transparent gloss as substitute. Just dab your transparent gloss in the center of your lips to make your lips healthy and moist.

EXO Baekhyun as a leader in inspiration of Kpop idol boys make up. Not to forget he is the king of eyeliner and smokey make up. He took burgundy smokey eye make up to the next level!
